Home Energy Advice Team Hub

The Project

The Home Energy Advice Team Hub provides local and innovative in-person energy advice, ranging from free home energy plans to workshops, webinars, and educational resources. The aim is to deliver one-on-one energy support to households living in hard-to-heat properties within conservation areas or those who are off the gas-grid.

The UK has the oldest housing stock in Europe which is in urgent need of retrofit. HEAT’s targeted support aims to capture the complexities of these buildings, offering a whole-house approach to simplify energy efficiency, as well as helping to cut carbon emissions and household bills.

Home Energy Advice Team is one of 36 projects that have been awarded funding by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and Midlands Net Zero Hub, as part of the Local Energy Advice Demonstrator programme.

Home Energy Advice Team provides advice and guidance to residents across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire with the aim of helping to improve the energy efficiency of properties which are hard-to-heat, in conservation areas or not connected to the gas network. Whether you are looking for advice and resources on how to improve your home or need help implementing upgrades, we can help.

The Partners

Home Energy Advice Team is delivered by Nottingham Energy Partnership and Marches Energy Agency, two leading energy charities in the East Midlands and Local Authorities Energy Partnership (LAEP).
