If you are a homeowner considering a heat pump and want to know the basic principles behind this technology and how to get one, then come along to our free workshop and get inspired.

 The Home Energy Advice Team Hub’s Ask an Expert Retrofit Series aims to provide homeowners access to specialists in the energy retrofit industry, including heat pumps, solar panels and home insulation experts, architects, retrofit assessors, and installers.

 The workshop will discuss everything you need to know about heat pumps. You will have the chance to ask questions of the manufacturing expert Daikin, view the technology, find out how heat pumps can save you money and cut your carbon emissions.

 If you're off the gas grid and live in the Meadows area, you will benefit financially from a heat pump. Or, if you are on the gas grid and super interested in this technology, our 'Understanding Air Source Heat Pumps' workshop is just for you. Come and hear about proper sizing, installation plans and tips along with the good, the bad and ugly of installations.

The Home Energy Advice Team (HEAT) Hub also works with homeowners to develop personalised home energy improvement plans specific to your home that takes into consideration how to preserve the heritage and quality of your home, but also to maximise investments made.

If your home is hard to treat, or in a conservation area, or not connected to gas, you will have the opportunity to book a free Home Energy Plan which offers a step-by-step guide to maximising the energy efficiency of your home.
