We’re seeing more women getting involved in retrofitting and taking on home improvement projects, so we’re creating a space for women to build their confidence, share experiences and learn practical skills together.

Whether you want to build your DIY skills, understand the fundamentals of insulation or learn how to avoid costly mistakes, this workshop will give you the practical knowledge and confidence you need to tackle insulation projects independently.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn how to safely fit insulation in lofts and suspended floors, as well as understanding how to choose appropriate insulation materials and the key considerations around safe installation, storage and ventilation. You’ll also get practical tips and tricks to help you improve the effectiveness of your insulation and avoid common problems.

Please note: Although this is a women-only workshop for attendees, the session will be delivered by members of our male contracting team, who will share their practical knowledge and experience in a friendly and approachable way. They’ll be there to support your learning, answer questions and help you develop the practical skills covered during the session.
